The Annoying Light-bulb

Happy Summer! It's been a hot minute (see what I did there?) since I said hello.

I have been deeply entrenched in my certification class and doing a TON of inner work. (I go first!)

I wanted to share something that came to me the other day. (truth be told while I was going to the bathroom HA)

Here we go...

Have you ever been in a room with a light-bulb that is burning out?

It’s on, it’s off, it’s flickering, then on, then off again. Like pick one already right?

It occurred to me that this is probably how your Spirit team feels when you are trying to heal something and then keep picking it back up again.

LIKE PICK ONE ALREADY!

Are we healing it and releasing it? Or keeping it?

We all have Protectors that keep us safe. Over the years we have developed them in times when we felt unsafe for whatever reason so we have these parts of us that are there to help.

We should thank those parts for sure. They have been doing some hard work and helping us cope with the stuff that is hard. Sending so much love to the Protectors!

But sometimes, we need to ask them to step down. Let them know that it’s ok to STOP protecting us from certain things. (the ones we are trying to heal and let go)

When we are ready to put out that light-bulb and release something, we need to be sure to address all the parts of us that are attached to it.

(This is something you should get help from a trained professional while doing.)
